Google To Fix Pixel 3 Memory Issues With Update

Google plans to roll out update to fix terrible memory management on The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in the coming weeks. The fix, though not the same fix that Google used to fix the camera bug issue, won’t come in this month’s security update but Google has said that it will come in a monthly update. Hopefully, it will be the December update.

We’re rolling out a software update in the coming weeks to keep background apps from being prematurely closed in certain situations.

The fix will address the issue where apps were prematurely closed in the background. Google says that it will “keep background apps from being prematurely closed.”.

Some users on social media have noted that using the camera on their Pixel 3 causes other apps like the music app to force close. More than likely, this is what Google is referring to in their statement.
