Apple Watch Series 3 and above feature LTE. However, you don’t necessarily need to have LTE turned on all the time. Here’s how to enable airplane mode on your Apple Watch.
How To Turn On Airplane Mode On Apple Watch
- Swipe up from the Control Center on the Watch face.
- Or, tap for one second, and swipe from the bottom from within any app to gain access to Control Center.
- Find the Airplane Mode button.
- Tap the Airplane Mode icon. It turns orange, meaning that Airplane Mode is on.
Whenever airplane mode is on, an orange airplane icon appears and stays on the screen. When you enable airplane mode, all LTE connections and other connections such as Bluetooth and wifi are disconnected.
