WX-030 Specifications Cont.

As for its technical specifications, the WX-030 transmits sound through a two-way system consisting of a nine centimeters midrange/woofer and three centimeters dome tweeter that deals with high frequencies. A passive radiator helps boost the bass to enhance the sense of depth in sounds. With all this, the WX-030 offers a full audio power of 30 watts, enough for listening to music in a living room or small room at a reasonable volume.

But undoubtedly the most exciting feature of the new WX-030 is the MusicCAST function. Thanks to built-in EthernetWiFi, and Bluetooth ports, this little Yamaha can communicate with other MusicCAST devices on a network, allowing both to receive and send music from the WX-030 to another speaker, sound bars, like the Yamaha YSP-1600, or other supported Yamaha equipment.

With the MusicCAST range of Yamaha Speakers or Yamaha Sound Bars, users can create a real multi-room sound system, sending different music to each computer or synchronizing all to reproduce the same music. In any case, the network management is done through the MusicCAST application, with which users can govern an entire system or just one device.

With this app, you can access a digital collection of songs, and also stream music from services like Spotify. The Bluetooth port also works in two directions, and in addition to playing the music on a smartphone or tablet without connecting any wires, users can, for example, link a wireless headset to listen to music in private.

Reviews

Its performance is far from perfect but the WX-030 is an impressive member of the MusicCast range, offering a big sound in small rooms. TrustedReviews.

Yamaha’s WX-030 is a great little speaker, and the MusicCast ecosystem that it’s part of has some very attractive elements.  TechHive

Conclusion

The WX-030 expands the range of your audio systems into rooms where larger speakers aren’t ideal. The Yamaha WX-030 is perfect if you’re already on Yamaha’s MusicCast setup. However, the WX-030 still offers good performance as a standalone speaker. With its loud and lively audio, crisp treble and punchy bass, the WX-030 leaves no room for improvement.

On the downside, the mono output is quite narrow. The WX-030 is a compact, sturdy, and an all-around balanced speaker. It’s easy to use, integrates effortlessly with other MusicCast speakers, and has an excellent smartphone app. Thanks for reading, Yamaha WX-030 Price, Specs, Features, Reviews, Photos on Orduh!
