Samsung Launches Galaxy J4 Core Android Go Smartphone

Samsung launched their second Android Go smartphone in the form of the Galaxy J4 Core. The first being the Galaxy J2 Core. However, the new Galaxy J4 Core Android Go smartphone features upgrade specs and features. Here’s what to know.

Compared to the J2 Core’s 5-inch 960×540 display, the J4 Core has a 6-inch 1480×720 TFT LCD panel. However, it still has just 1 GB RAM just like the J2 Core.

Samsung opted for 16 GB of storage space on the J4 Core (double that of the J2 Core). And, instead of the low-end Exynos 7570 processor, the J4 Core features a stronger 1.4GHz quad-core processor.

There are an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing shooter. A 3000 mAh battery powers the device.

The Galaxy J4 Core runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) with the possibility to update to Android Pie Go.

With regard to design, the Galaxy J4 Core keeps in line with the modern look of most smartphones. For now, there are no details on pricing and availability. However, Samsung issued this product page outlining the specs and features of the J4 Core.
