With IFA 2015 almost upon us, we are even closer to solving the mystery surrounding the new Huawei smartphone, even the name of the device. The most likely candidates seem to be the Huawei Mate S and Huawei Mate 7S but there may be last minute surprises. What seems almost certain, however, is that the smartphone will be presented at the festival in Berlin.
Huawei Mate S and Huawei Mate 7S Design
New images of the possible Huawei Mate S leaked a few days ago confirm the design and introduce other innovations. In particular it seems to have adopted a back that joins the fingerprint sensor and the camera, with the LED flash located on the left side.
The new back design could suggest the inclusion of an optical image stabilizer, a feature increasingly important in smartphones, particularly useful when shooting in low light conditions. The rear sensor could be a Sony IMX278 with a resolution of 13mp.
Huawei Mate S Specs
As for the technical specifications of Huawei Mate S, the latest rumors speak of a display 5.7 "Full HD, HISILICON Kirin 935 SoC with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Obviously this is not confirmed specifications and may differ significantly from those of the final model.
